Greetings from Residing Bishop Amy Skezas (prounced Skee-zuss) and all the ordained clergy and members of The Church of Tzaddi (pronounced T-zah-dee). Welcome to our web site!

Tzaddi is a “church of the people” —a form and structure designed to reach out to ordinary people in their lives. Founding Bishop Amy’s vision of what this church should “look like” includes home study groups and metaphysical classes to help people connect more with the inner Divine; she was inspired by the example of the Essenes and other mystery schools.

Beyond the outer form of a church in society, in the inner reality of love that connects all things, the energy body of Tzaddi is a large wheel generating spiritual love, light, and flow. It is composed of smaller wheels of light, or stars—individual members, ordained clergy, and light centers.

Each member in Tzaddi has a soul calling to a path of growth into light and chooses to belong to our church to support connection with Divine light. People have different spiritual gifts and ways of viewing the Divine. In Tzaddi we embrace and welcome people from many cultures as long as they are in alignment with our beliefs—especially, that God is love and that we actively support only those realities or Truths that honor growth and free will rather than seek to do harm or manipulate others. Thus, although our umbrella is wide, we set forth guidelines in our code of ethics which prohibit practices that are focused on hurting or manipulating others, violating the law, etc.

Each Tzaddian seeks, in the practices/path of his or her culture, to liberate the inner potential that is waiting to be brought into greater love, light, and flow. This inner potential can be expressed outwardly in any area of the member’s life—in business, in work, in athletics, in family relationships, in health, in friendships, in community, and so on. That which connects us in Tzaddi is an excitement and commitment to this process of “riding the line” between being and becoming: the process of growth, of unfolding potential in spiritual love, light, and flow.

People usually discover Tzaddi because they know someone who is studying with ordained Tzaddi clergy. Tzaddi ordination programs are created and administered through our seminary and the chartered light centers, under the supervision of the Bishop and the Board of Directors. We invite you to explore our church through this web site, to join in our weekly worship service through prayer and inward focus from your own home, and to consider whether our ordination programs might be right for you on your path of service and growth.
