Program Description—When someone thanks you, or offers you a compliment, what do you say? How do you feel inside? Sometimes we skip over that moment, or push away what is offered. We may open to receive compliments, thanks, and blessings only when we think that we ‘deserve’ it—that we are good, or belong to the right group, or follow the right rules, etc. In deflecting this way, we are cutting ourselves off from each other, our selves, and the Eternal. We can realize in our deepest hearts that the Godhead wants to give to us unconditionally—wants to give us gifts of grace, guidance, protection, wisdom, and unimaginable love—both directly, and through the channel of other people and even through our selves. This healing realization touches the root of our constriction and helps us open to graciously receive bountiful goodness. Together we will open our arms to what is offered to us, and reflect upon what the Divine truly wants to receive from us. |
