Seminary Ordination Programs
Tzaddi is a metaphysical church that welcomes and supports people in experiencing the infinite, loving, co-creative presence of the Divine.
We train clergy to develop their psychic and spiritual gifts and appoint them to give assistance, guidance, prophecy, inspiration, teaching, counseling, and Divine healing, and to perform sacred ceremonies such as marriages, child blessings, and funerals.
Our seminary programs offer vocational training in spiritual direction as applied in your chosen area of focus. Upon graduation you receive certification as a Spiritual Director and are ordained as clergy, with all the legal protections, privileges, and responsibilities appertaining to this role.
Our programs are a blend of distance learning, including using online services and teleconferences, and in-person learning, with the majority as distance learning.
You can apply for credit for past or concurrent studies, within certain subject area/total program limits.
In each program level, the curriculum includes:
- Topical study in your chosen area of focus
- Practicum or service work to apply your topical study
- Spiritual direction and emotional development
- Ordination lessons appropriate for your program level
- Professional development
- Supervision
The usual study and practice requirements for Tzaddi ordination programs are:
Healer Counselor - 2 years, 1000 hours. Focus on developing skills with spiritual healing and counseling. This is a sort of "junior minister" degree, for those whose calling is primarily in one-on-one service in the fields of healing and counseling.
Minister - Another 2 years, 1000 hours. Our concept of "minister" is much broader than the traditional "pulpit" role of clergy. Focus on spiritual study and service in one or more of these areas of ministering to others: Relational, Educational, Spiritual Growth, Calling, Surrendering to God's Work, Prayer & Forgiveness, Support & Encouragement, Healing & Reconciliation, Work Place Presence, Community Service, Witness, Congregational or Community Care, Helping, or Administrative.
Reverend Doctor - Another 2 years, 1000 hours. Focus on expanding your spiritual leadership.
